Looks I Love
Hello!
While getting ready for work last week, I looked at my closet (and the weather forecast) and realized it was time to switch up my wardrobe to my winter clothes and maybe pick up a few new outfits.
I also conveniently saw that Loft (one of my favorite shops for work-to-play transition pieces) is having a 40% off sale this weekend.
I stopped by Loft a few months ago for the first time in over a year, and I was amazed by the quality and style of their clothing. Their stuff was affordable, trendy and also classic. Professional enough for work, but also fun enough to wear to dinner or after-work cocktails.
I picked up two outfits at Loft recently: one for work and one for an upcoming holiday party.
I typically wear blacks, navy or dark burgundy. I am hoping to start branching out more with the colors I wear. These two outfits were slightly out of my comfort zone, but still felt like me.
When I wear these flared, stripe pants and ruffle-detail shirt, I feel like a 70s disco-goer, but it is still work appropriate.
This is the first time I have experimented with a two-piece outfit like this, as well as culotte pants. I paired this outfit with a chunky necklace, bold lip and (another) pair of comfortable heels.
I'll highlight these heels in an upcoming post! I like this outfit, especially because the shirt and pants can be worn separately with a solid top or bottom and a blazer and could be suitable for work.
Here are my top picks from this weekend's sale!

This coat is incredible-I would wear this to work or out on the town.
I'm very into embroidery right now. These shoes help transition the trend to the winter season.
Emerald is my new favorite color. I picked up a shirt just like this one recently at Marshalls.
I love the small fray detail on these jeans. Not too much distressing that your grandpa (or dad) would make a typical comment about holes in your jeans!
This lace up detail is subtle enough that I would wear this sweater to work or more casually.
I'm drooling over this shirt. Classic, but the smocking detail and small dot texture makes it so unique. Another versatile piece for both work and social outings.
What's your favorite store for work clothes?
Happy Shopping!
